HOW WE LIVE ON MARS?

HOW WE LIVE ON MARS?

Mars is the fourth planet of our solar system and it is very near to our Earth. Mars is always proving itself great mystery for the scientist. Mars is famous for its bright rust solid surface and rich minerals. Mars has colour code in atmosphere and home to the largest volcanoes mountains and valley in the solar system. Mars has been thought to herbal life and even have liquid water and long long time. Scientist believe that innocent Civilization exist on Mars. Some believe that soon human face global catastrophe and we have to leave the earth. Since so many years ago, we have been studying the planet for a long time with the intention of sending human is there but can humans survive on Mars and what challenges we face on the surface of the planet.

EXPLORING

Humans have have wanted to explore since Galileo Galilei. He was the first person he was the first person who watched the red planet, in this century that followed Astronomers discover the planet polar icecaps and during the 19th and 20th centuries. Researchers believe that they saw on network of long straight canals on mass that hinted at a possible civilization.

ABSORBING WITH THE NEW TECHNOLOGIES

In 1960 robotic spacecraft begin observing mass with the the United States lunching Mariner 4 in 1964 and Mariner 6 and 7. People were enthusiastic about finding Martian life. These mission revealed Mars is a barren world and there were no sign of life, or any civilisation like people had a managed would be there. The Soviet Union also launched some spacecraft towards Mars but most of the mission failed. Two Russian craft Mars Mars 2 and Mars 3 operated successfully. Because of the harsh Martin dost strong craft was unable to map the planet surface.

The first successful landing on NASA's Viking 1 lander which which TouchDown on guard planet on July 20 1976. The lander took the very first close up picture of martian surface and very first colourful photo of Mars. Unfortunately everyone disappointed because there are no life on the Mars. They found only dost red rocks and volcanoes on the surface of Mars.

The rover found highest mountain on the surface of Mars and the deepest longest valley in the solar system surprisingly, it is roughly 17 miles or 27 kilometres high that's about three time as tall as Mount Everest. Next to spacecraft to successfully reach Mars was the Mars Pathfinder and the March global surveyor which were both lunched in 1996. There was a small robot on board the Pathfinder named Sojourner, which become the first wheeled Rover to explore the surface of another planet. Its weight 25 pounds and covered 330 feet 400 metres.

In 2001 NASA launch the Mars Odyssey . Teesra were found vast amount of water ice beneath the martian surface mostly in the upper 3 feet on one meter. It is unknown if there is no water that lies underneath. Since the probe cannot see water any deeper with its limited instrument. The probe has been circling the planet over since and has record for the longest serving piece of machinery to work at Mars and it still there today and continues to operate.

In 2003 Mars pass closer to earth than at any time in the past. Scientist have had great opportunity to send more probe on the surface of Mars. Despite many colourful photos out there showing water and ocean water flowing on the surface of Mars so many years ago.

So you may be wondering all this time why would we want to put so much effort and resources into dead planet that we can see no evidence of Life on the surface of Mars. The truth, and the debates is shows that we are wasting our time even thinking about sending humans to Mars. One of the first man to orbit the moon former us astronaut William Bill Anders was one of three crew members of Apollo 8 program. He has said sending people to Mars would be stupid because the public would not interested in finding such a mission. Despite this there are many reasons why we have been studying the planet? Simply March is close by in our solar system makes sense but it is an obvious for the exploration.

There is another reason to explore the red planet including the search for life understanding the surface and the evolution of the planet. It is good place to investigate this question because it is also the similar planet to our earth including its land masses and the possibility that it once had ocean and seas like the earth.

LIFE ON MARS?

Mars has different atmosphere from the Earth. It has thing quantity of of oxygen is atmosphere. Elon musk who said it could be possible to change planet atmosphere. The second problem is that there is not in carbon dioxide to support his plan. However, Mr Alon mask face that humans could release sufficient gases from the martian soil using the right technology. There could be two ways to do this. According to the scientists the first approach would be to create an atmosphere sufficient for supporting liquid water on on the Mars surface that would allow humans to walk around and breathe air.

SECOND METHOD

Rising the planets atmospheric pressure, human would only need to use small breathing apparatus institutes of a bulky space suit. But there aur problems with both of those approaches, Mars does not have in carbon dioxide and it has enough to 15 millionbars of the atmospheric pressure destroying marks in sedimentary rocks would only release 12 millibars. If you want to compare that to earth our atmosphere reachs 1000 milibars.

Mars has low magnetic. Mars did not have magnetic field, man it was young and its iron core Melton and convecting much like how the earth's core functions.

Mass is going to be a difficult thing and will face a lot of challenges because we have to pack everything we need to survive the trip to neighbouring planet and back. The main goal would be to set up a permanent base that would eventually grow out into a city.
